Since Draytek annouced the Vigor 2830, the vast majority of opportunities typically fulfilled by the Vigor 2820 have now transitioned to the Vigor 2830. This newer model has all features of the older series, as well as providing new features at the same pricing, making it an easy replacement choice.
We still have a some major customer roll outs where Vigor 2820 is specified which we're continuing to fulfill however as the vast majority of business has transitioned to the new platform we are running down our stocks and anticipate making it End of Life 31st December 2011, and until then, it will only be held in stock for pre-ordered projects.
If you have specific customers that will require Vigor 2820 series routers between now and the end of the year please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange availability.
Vigor 2850 Series VDSL Router
We are delighted to announce the launch of the Vigor 2850 series routers.The Vigor 2850 series is based around the Vigor 2830 but the DSL WAN port can support both ADSL or VDSL (FTTC / BT Infinity). There is also still an Ethernet WAN port (switchable with LAN Port 4).
The first model, the Vigor2850Vn, will be available around 3rd week of October, with the Vigor2850n a little later.
