ICYMI: Steve Jobs gets stamp of approval

In case you missed it, we’ve collected a few of the popular stories making the rounds this Friday morning for a little segment we like to call ICYMI. Which stands for … something.

Don’t be surprised if you suddenly start seeing the face of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs on your mail: The late CEO is being honored by the U.S. Postal Service with a stamp, which you can expect to see starting in 2015 if the postal service is still operating. He’ll join luminaries such as John Lennon, Janis Joplin, and Dora the Explorer.
One of the few missing players in the set-top box market is Amazon—surprising, given that the retail giant has its own video streaming service. But rumors about just such a product have been around since last year, and the device itself may be getting closer to seeing the light of day. It’ll supposedly run Android (or a version thereof) and could appear as soon as March, potentially just in time to challenge a revamped Apple TV.
Apple rolled out two-step authentication for Apple IDs in a panoply of new countries this week, including Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Spain. Those join the previous list of the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand.
